Luckily that's why we have places like Blockbuster around. I'll admit I have played games that were definitely not worth $60, so I've rented them instead. Unless I know for sure I'm getting a superior quality game (i.e. Mass Effect, Oblivion) I won't buy a $60 game. Since prices for games have increased, I have been a little bit more selective in my purchases. Instead, I'll spent $6-7 for a rental.
So basically you can rent 8-10 different games, get your fun out of them, and return them instead of paying $60 for a game you may not even like.

wow blockbusters in my area rent out games for 10-12 $$$
wee i only rented so I'm glad i didn't drop another 30 on it, i like the feel of the game. fps and never felt so fresh, well after customizing it, mainly the aiming box.( i make it as small as possible )
i run behind people and gun them down with a full mag of mp40 and they dont die( yes i have good accuracy ) and they turn around and shoot me with 7 bullets with like a Thompson. i don't under stand the damage system. don't get me started with the shot gun.
