I think the Wii U is gonna have a hard time. The problem with the Wii U is the market it is trying to capture, the market that Sony and Microsoft already have a good hold on. Nintendo needs to show that the Wii U is more than just a console playing catch up with it's competitors. This E3, nothing substantial was shown about the Wii U that people were excited about (At least from the different interviews I watched with different gaming correspondants).

I think that when Nintendo boasted about Mass Effect 3 and Batman Arkham City being on the Wii U was a mistake. Sure you have big third party games, but it's too late. Are people seriously gonna buy a Wii U to play those 2 games again? Nintendo is all about their exclusives. Those usually show what the hardware is capable of.

Without a capable and robust online system, the Wii U is dead before it arrives. People always point to the Wii being a smash success but that was different. This time around, I think Nintendo will have a hard time selling the Wii U, especially if it's over $300.

What are your thoughts?

Discuss.

couldnt agree with you more, if they don't make the online better, this system will not sell well, especially if it does have the price tag of over 300 bucks. It really just seems like theyre not even trying anymore.

5. Quintin Coples: Known to take plays off, will just be another Nick Fairley

4. Ryan Tannehill: if this kid starts right out of the gate he is in trouble.

3. David Wilson: don't get me wrong i think he will be decent, but he was drafted too high IMO, was more of 3rd or 4th round range player.

2. Justin Blackmon: character issues will ruin his career if he doesn't learn to grow up.

1.Brandon Weeden: 28 years old, drafted in the 1st round, plays for the browns, nuff said.

6. Matt Flynn: he will be another Matt Hasselbeck kind of player.

5. Josh Freeman: inconsistent at times, but i think he will improve.

4. Andy Dalton: He played well last year, i think he is a very serviceable qb in the NFL, top 10 qb one day

3. Robert Griffin III: Man is a hard worker, i think he will be a star from his 1st start, i really think he could be a top 5 qb in this league in 2-3 years

2. Jake Locker: Sitting his rookie year and maybe next year will benefit him a lot, look for him to be really good in the coming years.

1. Cam Newton: The man is just a beast, he reminds me a lot of vince young his rookie year, just i think he will not have a sophomore slump

I can't believe people are only now starting to catch on to the fact that there are too many shooters.

I've been saying this for a long time.

E3 was full of shooters, shooters and more shooters.

I'd say it's thanks to Call of Duty Modern Warfare and Halo. Those games popularized console shooters.

But I'd say MW was the final nail in the coffin. Ever since that game was released, every developer has tried to mimic it in order to create the next "CoD killer".

hit the nail right on the head my friend, i completely agree with you, this gen has been full of shooters.
