I absolutely love cars. I currently drive a 2001 Subaru Forester L, with 67k miles on it. I bought mainly because it is fantastically reliable, has a boxer engine, has a pretty low COM for a SUV, and it is extremely versitile in all conditions, like a SUV is supposed to be like. Unfortuantly it has 4AET tranmission and not the 5-spd I was looking for, but I can't complain for the price I got it for. As of right now, I've only invested in an upgraded sound system [subwoofers MIGHT come soon, but the estimate is looking a little high], so I can start saving up for a new car. I'm hoping for a used 335i or even 3M, depending on how long the Forester lasts, but I would also love a Miata, because driving one was one of the best expierences I had driving a car; lastly, driving another Forester would be fine with me, as I love my car, but I'd buy an XT for the turbo and the upgrade compatability. In the far distant dream-world future, I'd love to smack a LS1 on a Miata, and use it as a track car.
Exactly, we should turn away from socialism, because that's the way we're heading now.Actually, the failing of the banks was preceded by heavy deregulation. I think Paulson was a big supporter of it.Yes, deregulation [to a degree] occurred before the failing of the banks, but to say deregulation was the cause of the economic recession is wrong. Especially in the US, deregulation was met with much more regulation. Hate to hit you witha wall of text but nckkiko on the CfL website did a great job explaining this idea. http://www.campaignforliberty.com/blog.php?view=2661[QUOTE="Xx_CYC756_xX"][QUOTE="11Marcel"]But then what would you blame?
You could say don't blame capitalism until we're 100% capitalism. But then be straight, and don't blame the fall of the soviet union on communism, or anything else on communism because there has never been true communism. In fact, there probably has never been true christianity, anarchy, or a truely totalitarian government. Actually, all motives for any kind of government fall apart, because we've never had it.
The question is, if you're moving one way on a line, and things get worse. Does that make you go faster in the same direction or turn around?

We aren't a capitalist country, so to blame capitalism is downright laughable.

Ron Paul, spoke indirectly at Bush and Obama. We probably could have had a true politician like that if people did a little research before they vote and the media didn't shut him out.You have got to love the British parliament. No senator out of his or her mind would have had the audacity to stand up to Obama or Bush like he just did wiht Brown.
Beyond that, though, he's just one more fool who thinks he can run one of many nations that is failing to meet the people's expectations. I agree with his ideas, but no one will listen until we're up to our neck in it.
