Yeah... I bought it yesterday and I gotta tell you... I haven't put this much time into a new game the first day in a long time. Suffice it to say that I'm loving it.
Okay..... Well, I picked my copy up around 1:00, put in about 2 and a half hours or so and I must say that it's exactly the same as I remember it. I would give it at least an 8.5 regardless of the fact that it's a re-hash of a game that's over a decade old. I'm loving it personally. It definitely does the original justice.
This game is a total must-buy for anybody that is a fan of the original.

Do you still get the little videos when you preview rides or has that been taken out?
Those have actually been taken out. It'd be nice if they had them, but it definitely doesn't take away from the gameplay at all. There is, however, a nice little intro video though.
I think by the end of the night I had put in at least 9 hours. I was saying over on the Theme Park forum that my wife basically had to pry my DS out of my hands just to get me to eat dinner last night because I was so in the zone, which rarely ever happens when I buy a new game. lol.
I had all my characters at level 70 with Luneth as a Black Knight, Arc as a Black Belt, Refia as a Sage and Ingus as a Magus when I beat the game both times and had no problems whatsoever beating the Cloud of Darkness.

lWhen you get to be older and have a wife and kids, you start to dread Christmas because it's all about buying presents for your family and being broke for about a month.
Suffice it to say that I don't mind the fact that Christmas is 9 months away at all. lol.
