Pokemon and Zelda.
I'd put Dragon Quest IX in place of Zelda, but I doubt that it will see the light of day here in the states before 2008.
I'm really looking forward to Theme Park as well though.
Yeah... I had to order it off Amazon because I couldn't find it anywhere either. Sure, it was used and it cost me 33 bucks, but it's still well worth it. Chances are that it's just going to get more and more expensive as time goes by, though, so I'd go ahead and buy it if I were you.
I don't know what I was thinking selling it the first time I had it. Back then it was only 20 bucks.
Phoenix Wright and Trauma Center definitely.
As stated before, though, the main downsides are that Phoenix Wright has basically no replay value whatsoever and Trauma Center is friggin'Â hard as hell. Definitely one of the hardest DS games thus far, if not the hardest.
They're still well worth the price of admission though.
Looks pretty damn sweet.
The guy that was playing seemed to have a bit of trouble trying to pick things up though. I hope that's just due to the fact that they didn't really know what they were doing rather than the controls being clumsy.
Hell.. I'm 29 and I always thought Pokemon was retarded and just for super geeks and little kids, but a little bit before FFIII came out I got somewhat frustrated with the lack of RPGs on the DS, so I decided I would get a GBA RPG to hold me over for a while and ended up picking up the Fire Red version. I was very pleasantly surprised to say the least. It trully is an excellent RPG and now I can't wait for Diamond to come out.
Just comes to show that you can't judge a book by it's cover. ;)
Animal Crossing is fun and all for a while, especially if you have wifi, but it gets old after a while and it's really only fun to play about 30 minutes to an hour a day. Eventually the game just becomes more of a chore than it is a source of entertainment though.
Pokemon is definitely the best bet between the two.
