Ok. First of all, there is this thing you have to do in middle school called the beep test. You start out at a line and run to another line when you hear a beep. You have to make it to that 2nd line before another beep. When that same beep goes, you have to run back to the first one. The amount of time between the beeps decreases each time. I think soccer players use this work out, and they get 20 somes. The fastest I've seen is 11-6(each level has from 10-15 beeps).
Well, we had to do this test today in gym class and were sorted into two groups. We started, and I made it the first time pretty easily. I just pretty much look forward the whole time and didn't really look to the sides. When we got to about 7-8 the most amazing thing happend.
I looked up, and there were only six people left! It was just me and a couple of my friends( there were about 30 people in our half, and none of them were the lazy kids). I never was really good at running until the end of the year last year, and that was a cross country mile( I got 6:30), not sprinting. I got lazy at 8-1 so I stopped, along with two others. Now I actually have another chance for high school sports(besides baseball)!
