I'd go with Prince of Persia or Assassin's Creed since they're pretty similar to realistic societies. Day to day life wouldn't be absolutely unbearable, unless you're doing very poorly financially. Other than that it's just the same as living in a less technologically advanced civilization.

More new IPs. They help keep things fresh in the industry. Gears of War was a new IP this gen and it quickly became the co-face of the Xbox 360 alongside Halo.
Mirror's Edge is a new IP and it is one of the best realizations of the platformer genre outside of Super Mario.
Forza Motorsport was a new IP and it quickly dethroned other sim racers.
Crysis was a new IP and it helped push technology in gaming like never before.
Now I like my sequels to games that I love, but their needs to be new games released that can help shake things up. New IPs are a vital part of the industry.

You forgot Borderlands. Best game this generation IMO.
Wow. This thread got really off topic fast. Does anybody have any useful tips, builds, or info that would help me decide on a build?
You don't have to. I'm only asking out of curiosity. I want to know what makes a pc case good.[QUOTE="YondaimeX4"][QUOTE="evildead6789"] It's a good case , but it won't fit you big ass gtx 580 , you will need a full tower case instead of a mid tower, but indeed you can cut costs on the case (full towers are necessarily more pricey than mid-tower cases) , cheaper cases aren't necessarily bad either but they harder to work with. As for the psu it's the same, i choose a modular psu because it's easier to install, non modular's are just as good but are harder to install, because you can't choose which cables to connect to your psu, all cable are already preconnected , i will find another case and psu for you.evildead6789
Pc cases are made good for a couple of things, easyness of installation, durability of the material (steel for instance) , cooling, extra leds and connectors, stuff like that. that 50$ cheaper case i posted is nearly the same as the more expensive one. only cable managment will be a little less easier and you have less drive bays, nothing to worry about though , it's still a much easier case to install than the one i have. I don't really care for easyness of installation because i install , repair pc for a living so i'm not willing to pay money for that.
Ah, I think I get it now. Thanks. So you're paying for convenience, cooling, and material when you buy a case. Correct?[QUOTE="LoganZRun"]How is it a rip off? They pay you X dollars for your game/console/accessory and turn around and sell said item for X + five gazillion dollars. You should be able to as long as you got your reciept, i hate gamestop there such rip offs ...

I will be hooking my pc up to a 1080p tv, but it is by no means the monster that yours is. It's only a 32" that I have hooked up to my current pc. Because of that I just have a regular wired mouse and keyboard. And I already bought some nice HDMI cables online for around $5 (I know best buy is a ripoff for cables and such since I work there :p). Thanks for the input though.BTW TC, I have my gaming rig hooked up to my 50" Samsung Plasma. If you are going to build a gaming rig which you plan to play on the big screen I would recommend you buy a wireless keyboard and mouse. I would suggest Logitech MK320, that's what I use when I play on the big screen. I put the keyboard on my lap and put the mouse beside me on a mouse pad and put up my feet on the cofee table and play on the big screen.
Plus, I would also suggest avoiding buying HDMI cables from Best Buy or other retailers. There's a company I belive in Arizona that is selling HDMI cables that are 15 feet to 15 feet long and they are selling it for $15-$20. That's where I got my cables from.
