Please don't hype this game, guys. Look what happened to the Cows. Hype something that actually has some promise to it, like King's Story, Tales of Symphonia 2, or Disaster: Day of Crisis.
DeathScape666
Dude, are you serious? You won't hype those games because they are not fps games, but you would hype a game being made by the devs who made 50 cent bulletproof G-unit edition? (along with a bunch of other ****). Why?
The Wii lacks mature themed FPSs. It has a wide variety of different games, but not as many FPSs as the other three systems.
That's why I chose the Wii as my next generation system.
Just because it lacks fps games it doesn't mean you should hype the next fps that comes out even if it looks medicore.
I understand that. Apparently, a few people don't.
I'm not hyping this crap.
I'm actually excited for this game even though it looks generic.
First of all why am I excited is because High voltage are one the developers actually trying to make a great wii game. I remember them and Platinum(creators of Mad World) studios saying that no one is trying on the wii and We are trying our best to make a great wii game. Remember what Ubisoft said: "We are going to make Nintendo Like Quality Games." So far they didn't show any nintendo like quality games.
Second of All, yesterday in the Nintendo Voice Chat, Matt(or Bozon I forgot) said that what we saw in the Conduit Trailer, was pre alpha and they did not create stages yet.
So I expect High Voltage to make The Conduit a great wii game or atleast try(not like the other developers) and not just High Voltage but Platinum, I want them too show wii developers how to make great third part games and not just ports or games that they make just for the money. BTW I'm a sheep so no need for bashing me
They're just filling you with empty promises. Sure, they didn't have to say anything, but it'd sound much better to the Wii gamers if they said, "We are going to try to make a good Wii game." If it flops, some people still might buy it because supposed "effort" was put into it.
Sure, there's a chance this game might do well, but what are you basing this off of? I'm hoping it's not what these guys are saying to you. The game play video? ...What's impressive there? Absolutely nothing. Nothing stands out. There's nothing that really sets itself apart from the countless other FPSs on the market.
When these guys show us something impressive, then feel free to hype it. But all these guys have showed you so far is a dead flower that looks like it's about to wilt.
I think the video of there tech-demo engine was pretty awesome, but what you said, I'll wait. But I'm happy that they said we are going to try and bring you a good wii game.
