I get your point, but it can show a weakness. I'll give you a hypothetical example...

The Wii is $250 currently. If they came out with an external HDD that was, say, $100, now it's $350. People could look at that say, "Well, gee, the 360 is actually the same price with everything included, and it has HD, a bigger game library, 5.1 surround capability, etc, etc."

Do you see what I'm getting at? I understand people don't have to buy peripherals, but the ability to handle downloadable content will be a big issue for many people.

the reason why the game was developed for XBLA and then cancelled was due to a licensing disagreement with microsoft and nintendo. for this game to even be shown at a event such GDC..dont you think that maybe micrososft and nintendo came to a agreement?
