Getting on Xbox Live does not require a professional to set up. There are plenty of guides on how to do this online. basically... get a router.

I bought the Xbox 360 Premium about when Gears of War was released, so a couple years ago. I chose this because, I wanted a hard drive, it it was the only SKU at the time that offered one. I only have a 20GB hard drive though, so it kinda sucks. I really need more space, especially with the new update allowing users to load a game onto the hard drive. If I were to buy an Xbox 360 right now, it would most likely be an Xbox 360 Elite. I get 1080p right now though component cables, but HDMI would be better. Also, I want the 120GB hard drive hehe.

Yeah, you can bridge two network connections on your PC to do this. I bridge my laptop's wireless network connection with the local area network connection to get my Xbox 360 online. It works nicely :)

match making is great! It makes jumping into a game so much easier.

Hi, I have a friend who really wants an Xbox 360 and I've helped him look for a good deal. So far we've narrowed our search down to two ideas. The first is just buying a brand new Xbox 360 "Arcade" and then doing the deal M$ is offering where you can buy a refurbished 20 GB hard drive for $20. The second idea is buying a Used"Premium" 360 from eBay. It is $170 with free shipping, but I don't think it has a warranty.

The link is:http://cgi.ebay.com/Microsoft-Xbox-360-Premium-System-Bundle-w-20GB-Hdd_W0QQitemZ320310312816QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item320310312816&_trkparms=72%3A1205%7C39%3A1%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A12%7C240%3A1308&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14

I feel that he should go with the first option, but what do you guys think?

Thanks for taking the time to read this!

Wow no way. Don't buy an Xbox 360 used. Buy either the Xbox 360 Arcade SKU or a new regular Xbox 360 SKU.

I have a nice gaming PC, so I don't need KB/M support on the Xbox 360. It honestly doesn't make much sense. For gaming on a console, it is always best just to use a gamepad since it is easy to store, easy to use, and you can just sit back on the couch and play with friends. The PS3 has keyboard and mouse support because it has a web browser. The browser is ridiculous, and there's really no point to it, but that's still a legitimate reason to have support for keyboard and mouse. In the end, it is just best to leave consoles to the gamepad, and PCs to the keyboard and mouse.

yes it does if u have hdmi cords. and an amazing tv :)Fakenamelmao
You don't need HDMI. The Xbox 360 can output 1080p through component cables , as will as using a VGA cable. This all depends on your TV of course, if it accepts 1080p signal from a component source, or even has VGA port respectively.
