Hi guys. I've just bought the Orange Box, and i'm having a blast with HL2 & Portal, but i can't say the same thing about TF2.

Everytime i try to join a server i always get the "Server is not responding" message. Why? I'm not using a firewall.

I bought the OB mainly for Portal al TF2, since i already had HL2 and Episode 1, so I'd appreciate any help.

No, I don't think the redeemer sucks. In fact, its my favorite ultra-sized unit in KW.

Just get a black hand & a rocket team in it.

The flamethrower inflicts a large amount of damage to pretty much everything (superb vs buildings). Just make sure ur redeemer gets close enough. The rocket launcher is descent vs air and vehicles.

I recommend u to use the redeemer vs tons of normal units or to atack a base, not vs other epic unit. The redeemer's special ability works great vs multiple enemies.

I suggest to attack a base or some enemy units (with some support) to gain experience, and repair him until he becomes elite. At that point he will start healing himself and his damage will be boosted.

The redeemer might not be that good vs a MARV or an Hexapod, but you won't find a better base destructor than the redeemer. Just get close to any structure and let the flamethrower do it's job. If there are too many enemies and defenses, use the special ability.

Hi guys. I've a problem and i'd thank all the help i can get.

I'm playing STALKER for the second time, but i started getting the save crash bug when i entered Yantar. The first time i finished it, it never crashed (i was using XP), but now i have vista and it started crashing when i try to quick load. In fact, i don't have any problem saving or loading the autosave, but when i try to use the quick load, i get the "STALKER stopped working" error.

I've tried fixing the virtual memory problem, but i can't and it still crashes.

Does anyone knows how to fix it?

I HATE MMORPGs and most RPGs. They are boring as hell and pointless. You just don't finish them. I like FPS and RTS.

I know it's not recommended, but it seems that BFG sell the 9800GX2 with it included. And EVGA sell that connector too. So I was thinking: Well, it might be like the laptop GPU warning "Might work but it's not supported".

I have a NVIDIA nForce 650i SLI.

Thanks for your advise.

Hi. I've just realized that my PSU (750W) doesn't have the 6pin and 8pin connector, but 2 6pin connectors. (sad).

I still want to buy a 9800GX2. I've heard that is not recommended to use a "8pin to 6pin connector", but it seems that the 9800GX2 BFG has one of those connectors included. Is that true?

If so, should I get a 9800GX2 BFG and use that connector?

Thanks in advance.

Yup, the thing is that a 9800GTX is not for 300$ in Mexico.

One 9800GTX is about 550$ here, and one 9800GX2 is about 800$.

I have over 700$, so if my PSU (still don't know) can handle a 9800GX2, I might go for it, cuz, if you check the numbers, 2 9800GTX are too expansive in Mexico.

Anyway, I'm still thinking about it.

You guys really got me thinking.

I want to play most games 1680x1050.

What should I expect from a 9800GTX vs 9800GX2 running Crysis at that resolution? (I KNOW Crysis is not the only one game out there, but it's the most demaning game, and if i can run it decently, I know I'll be ok with many upcoming games too [for a while.])

I'm tired of playing most games at 1360x768, so I'd like to know which card is better for me.

I have a e6700 & 2gb RAM 800Mhz (I'll upgrade that in the future)

BTW still don't know if my PSU can handle a 9800GX2. I was too busy in school and couldn't ask to Dell guys. :p

Why?

I've seen some benchmarks and i think it outperformed all video cards pretty good.
