You know it's funny though, if it was any other sytem, sales would be a big deal. If PS3 or 360 sold as much as the Wii has, all we'de hear is OH OUR SYSTEM SOLD THE MOST, IT WINS!!! Sales have been a benchmark in the past, and still are. If not, then there should be no bashing of the PS3 for having sold the least. But people are right, sales are not the only thing. Every system has their strengths, and weaknesses, but the facts of the matter are this:
The Wii has a lot of great games on it now, and many more coming to us in the near and distant future.
A lot of people, young and old, boys and girls, hardcore and casual (if there is such a thing?) enjoy the Wii and its titles.
The Wii is an excellent party sytem.
The Nintendo Wii can, and has been used for such things as physiotherapy, and rehabilitation.
Even Norwegian Cruise Lines have added the Wii as part of their on board entertainment.
The Wii brought to us a new standard of controls. God forbid someone has to move their arm, or flick a wrist in order to pull off a move instead of just sitting on the couch like a lump, and button mashing.
Look, the bottom line is that Nintendo has brought us a system that a lot of people enjoy, and at a fair price. If thats not what a good console SHOULD do, then so be it.
