The nintendo wii is a FUN console i sense that nintendo is starting to get that making 'kiddy' games as you call it , is not always the right way to go so i think you should get one but the final decesion is yours to make. And as for the mario games that came out latly theres Super Paper Mario , Super Mario Strickers and Mario party 8. But theres also the upcoming Mario Galaxy later this year and also SSBB will obviously be featuring mario as one of the characters,
