Yay! I have fishies!

Went out and bought a 10 gal. aquarium, and am starting a 'tropical community' complete with sunken grecian ruins, live plants and (so far) four fish: 2 Powder Blue Gouramis, 2 Black Tetras

This weekend I'll be adding 1 more black tetra, 2 neon tetras, possibly a betta, and a plecco

I know I should just be writing about games in this little journal, but my father is being a complete ass, and I'm totally pissed off and needed to vent somewhere.

So a few months ago my cat got hit by a car, and my dog developed a hole in her pericardium and had to be put to sleep. So now my father's house contains no animals, with the exception of his wench-wife's parakeet (which I never see because he's mewed up in her room) and he refuses to let me get an animal now. any animal at all.

It really doesnt sound tragic, but I dont think I've been a day in my life without an animal to care for. I grew up on a farm with cats and dogs and horses everywhere, until my mother and my stepfather decided to sell the farm and move into town. I was doing an internship in Missourri at the time, and thus had no say when they left all my cats and dogs behind.

So now I have had no animals for months, and my heart is breaking. My father refuses to let me get a cat or even a finch, and is adamant in being a complete jackass. (though why his wife is allowed to have a bird and I cant is way beyond me). It just came to a boil today when I brought a kitten over for about ten minutes while I picked up my cat kennel for her to ride to my sister's house (my sister has her own house, and therefore wanted a kitten for her birthday) and he went ballistic thinking I had brought it home for me to keep. I was so pissed off.

He makes me so angry! Kadessa Baka! BAKA BAKA BAKA!!

Never really been a Splinter Cell fan, but I was watching a few of my friends play it last weekend, and I think I'd like to try it. I'm terrible at the stealth gameplay, but I'm bad at all video games, so why should that stop me? I really liked some of the stealth kills, and ways they managed to get through levels (co-op gameplay was so freaking cool). Anyway, that's about it....

So I'm finally getting a gamecube next weekend, so which game should I buy to go with it? I can borrow a lot of games from my friends, but I want my first gamecube game to be something special. I'm going to pre-order Twilight Princess, but that's still about six months away! Oh which game to buy? which gaaaame?!

So I spent the last half hour drooling over all the zelda gameplay clips they've got posted here, and I'm so freaking psyched! I waaaaant it!! *whine* It looks so fantastic! wheeee!

Anyway, finally got a job, so hopefully once I've got all my bills paid off, I can get a gamecube.

Well I'm not quite sated with all the info on Twilight Princess, but boy am I happy. The hard part will now be waiting till this fall/winter for it to come out. I finally got a job, so in a few weeks I can buy a gamecube, and all will be well. Gonna try to get an apartment that's closer to my new job (rather than a half hour commute...grrr...), but will I be able to afford it? Only time will tell.

Jon bought God of War, but it was a used copy, and for some reason wouldnt work on his PS2, so he'll have to exchange it for a new one :( I was all excited to play it too.....

I've been two weeks ebay free now, and the withdrawl is killing me....what if there are good dvds that I'm missing out on? What if there's a piece of jewelry that I could get for two dollars? What if someone is selling the FMA series for ten dollars? AUGHHHH

Whew....back to semi-reality. Still trying to decide which game I want to buy when I get my game cube. Ocarina of Time? Wind Waker? Soul Calibur 2? I cant decide!!!

AHHHRRGHH The waiting is driving me maaad!! Mad I say!

I'll bet G4's ratings go waaay up during E3

Well I think I'm on the verge of getting a new job, so hopefully I can buy myself a game cube after paying off student loans *barf*. Not only am I excited about the new zelda, but jon and I are going to get Geist, and Psychonauts. Since he has an X-box and a PS2, I figure it's only fair that I complete our collection of systems...*crosses fingers* second interview is tomorrow....the ten million dollar question being: Will I have a job by the end of the week?? Dun dun dunnnn.................

So anyone who keeps up with my postings will have noticed that I'm obsessed with E3, and that we're only 15 (yes you heard me right: fifteen) days till we get to find out about Zelda 2005. WOOOO!!!!!! Still trying to talk my mother into buying a game cube "for the family" *snort* but I dont think she's having any of that. oh well

Finally got up to the point where I can post pictures under my signature. yay!

Must remember to go out and buy newest copy of EGM!! Today!!!! Barnes and Noble, here I come!

Well gave up on oracle of seasons, mostly because I'm bored with trying to beat ghoma. Kinda irked that there are no really great games for the gbc (as far as I know). Maybe going to buy a gamecube off of ebay if I dont get it for my birthday in june. not likely, but I can hope.
