@Shadowhunter0 it's funny to me people constantly knock Nintendo because it has no 3rd party but wen talking about a next gen with the other two systems all I hear is the word EXCLUSIVES and the respected titles for the systems...Nintendo is no.1 when it comes to exclusives and storylines this is why they will always be around. I agree ps3 has way stronger exclusives the. 360, I would say they r right behind Nintendo and that's y I like them and what really this should all come down to...track records. Microsoft came out with a system way after Ninty and Sony; the Xbox THEN they give a nxt gen consol that I and many others have dumped loads of mony into...in a bad way because of bad designing on the system...YEARS LATER THEY PROVIDE US WITH THE SAME SYSTEM but with a fan...not a good start to me....as for VITA, I won't buy it, I don't trust Sony with the handheld world, it doesn't catch my attention and something tells me it will have a similar run to the psp
@Baroni88 I like the 360's Ui too but please tell me how that's innovative because to my recollection I'm pretty sure Ps had a Ui before anyone...there is nothing new there its just a user interface, and most of us could care less about the Ui anyway, once again if a game that is ported to both systems look even or the 360 looks better its only because the developers havent figured out how to utilize the cell core in the ps3...it's just a direct port...minor code changing
@shadowhunter0 that's actually incorrect me PC gamer can tell u that the 360 is gpu wise more powerful then the ps3 the cells in the ps3 is what make the ps3 more visually stunning....that and the developers know how to utilize the system properly to make up for the lost power between the two systems....by believe me I'm more a ps guy then a ms guy but I like them both
I'm not saying Microsoft will lose to both of them I'm saying it will lose to one of them. Their first party is weak halo is getting repetitive and the story is getting old Fable is nearing the end of its run and gears of war is starting to become more and more like halo....I'm just sayin Microsoft needs to get things together this nxt gen to me and come up with an idea that another console hasn't put into action already. I like the 360 but I'm not yet sold on Microsoft being a TRUE gaming company yet
@sleepnsurf can u explain to me how u have come up with the idiotic idea that Microsoft will b the kings of nxt gen console war? Because to my understanding the gaming community thrives off of 3 things innovation, (for the kids younger than 18) graphics, and games...now let's break it down Microsoft has NO real innovation in the gaming world, YEA I SAID IT SINCE NO ONE ELSE WILL THE 360 is NOT innovative....LIVE is innovative but the system isn't...sure u can hit me with "360 was the first system with HD capabilities" ok ill let u have that but if another product comes out and literally erases another's format all together, I think u can take away innovation frm that previous product (I'm talking about HD to Bluray). Yes the 360 is more powerful then the ps3 but do to some tech the ps3 looks better...Microsoft likes being the middle man it won't win a consol war until next next gen...and mayb not even then, Nintendo will thrive because of 2 things 1. 1st party games and new 3party support IN HD and 2. It's smart on not making the same mistakes twice SONY will be good as long as they push the power of ps4 past HD (I can see them making a name for new graphics like RD (real definition lol)) its 3rd party support and first party r strong as well
i personally think you are an idiot if u think the big N wont sell, and sell really high come on now how many times have we seen people be iffy about what nintendo comes out with next and then it arrives and by the end of the year everyone has it...tell me that wasnt how it was with the wii? has anyone looked up the sales that 3DS has done on the end quarter?! better than the DS did...and the DS is one of the highest selling gaming devices of all time. Nintendo has a way of getting to us, i dont understand y people still continue to doubt them
@mblaney thats one of the worst wishes ive ever heard for a Historical company like Nintendo who is doing amazingly well to not only drop out but to serve to other companies whose main focuses isnt in the gaming world. Im not a 100% fanboy of nintendo i believe all the systems have their strengths but in the "console wars" there are really only two categories, Power (display) and Gameplay...where Nintendo doesnt succeed in graphic power they always manage to keep us entertained with its long lived IP and its want to make a gamer more interactive with games (innovation) im sorry but Microsoft is an "tweener" to me and i dont really support the idea of just being in between and not coming with something original-agreed they were the first to the last gen console the 360 and it sold amazingly well but what can you say about the 360 besides its controller and online operations that are great? Now add that to what can they do next? not much...Sony has managed 3 times over to change our dailey lives ps1-cd games ps2 games and a movie player ps3 bluray Nintendo has managed to keep wowing us with great first party games while forcing the other two companies to dapple into motion controls, i think if i had to choose microsoft would hop out if nething

The way they made this article sound...sounds like someone just got a secret payoff from Microsoft or Sony, either that or they played Super Ghouls and Ghost as a kid on the Snes, hated it, and ever since then they've hated Nintendo and never gave them a second chance...grow up editor saying Nintendo is waving the white flag is like saying Apple will sell less than a mil. on the Iphone 4s....WONT HAPPEN lol
