With the emulator of the 80 GB you will find some games may glitch up a bit in the way you describe or will not work at all. How important is backward compatibility to you? The 60 GB has the PlayStation 2 chipset inside while the 80 GB uses software emulation. If you want to be absolutely sure any PS2 games you may want to play will work, get the 60. If it isn't that big of a deal or you still have the PS2 kicking around, get the 80.lyndonAPI

Quick question on bc. Because the game is emulated, do all the games run slower or only a few that have not been properly fixed like Radiata Stories or Amplitude?
