Gamespot don't have all of those in their database so check IGN if you don't recognise any of them. The Ico/Shadow of the Colossus teams next game is going to be KILLER.

Launch games happened. Ridge Racer 7 loads really quickly though, 5 seconds into races when installed. I'm sure there's other quick loaders, GTHD probably, GT3 loaded super quickly on the PS2!

The PS3 will output a 1920x1080 interlaced picture which your tv will downscale to 1366x768 progressive. How well that's done depends on your tv.

Phil H said he likes the Xross Media Bar as the main interface, functionality like that in My Singstar may eventually be brought over into the XMB but the XMB won't be completely replaced. Just as well because it's my favourite console UI yet, very classy.

Background downloading's in, don't believe any other rumours about other features. Patience.

As an Englishman with a preorder, definitely. Lots of quality content to chew on starting with Resistance, Ridge Racer 7 and MotorStorm, flOw and Tekken 5 for full EDI games (+ maybe Lemmings) and then GT HD and a bunch of other demos to top it off.

Oh yeah, Super Rub-a-dub looks quality too.

Go for RR7, don't believe the FUD, it's the best one yet. Very slick and enough customisation to break up the races.

Has a great online interface too, pretty unique with intuitive icons to show the status of various setup options.

Can't wait for Euro launch so I can really dig into it. 8)
