It sucks because I think it's much harder to get a killtacular in Reach. Maybe it's because I haven't figured out how to properly play it, but I only have one overkill so far. The last month of Halo 3 I got five killtaculars alone (playing only MLG and Lone Wolves)

I really want Jorge's helmet. I also got robbed of my bulltrue for Emile's helmet. Lol @ the avatar award for Carter's helmet. Does anyone actually have that? If so, major props. I just don't see how that's possible.

because Its a tradition, I played legendary on halo 1, halo 2 alone, I played it 4 player coop on odst and halo 3, then proceeded on it alone. the people i used to play with didn't get the game so I went ahead and did it alone and it was simply crushing.

It wouldn't have been a problem if the difficulty was sourced from the enemy using smart tactics and rushing me, the majority of difficulty was just based on how hard it was to damage enemies, and how much damage they did to you and how you were literally the only thing they would shoot at if you even stuck your foot out from cover.

and the fact your ally AI are pretty much completely useless, non story characters die within the first few seconds of engagement and story characters like the rest of noble team while not capable of dieing will pretty much do nothing on legendary, and they are brain dead, one of the noble 6 whom is a close quarters fighter and uses a shotgun, when I had this guy on my team and only him, he would continuely shoot shotgun shots at grunts and elites at medium to long range never even hitting them lol.

It's also why I love Emile. He's another person that actually did something. Missions with Kat, Carter and Jun were the worst. You would think Jun was walking around with no gun..

Also, was it just me or did the "noob combo" (DMR + Plasma Pistol) not work after Mission 3? The first two levels it worked and I was like "cool, this won't be super impossible" then I got to mission 3 and the enemies were like "lol this guy with his noob combo.."

Ironic huh? The gen where every fanboy thinks you need a AAAAe is the worst, and the gen where there was no AAAAe is the best.

I agree. My teammate spawned in front of my as soon as I went to shoot and I killed him, then he betrayed me.

It's not really the systems' fault, it's the terrible fkn community. I love Halo, don't get me wrong, but I hate this community more than anything. It's the worst community by far.

It's not that hard to tell if someone betrayed you by accident, what's the point of booting him? Nothing is gained or lost for both sides. The guy getting booting doesn't lose his credits and the guy who did the booting doesn't gain anything. If anything, he's just going to die more due to being down a man thus lowering his perfomance credits at the end of the game.

Isn't almost every new inclusion from the Fallout 3 mods? I remember when I was reading about it, everything I read basically said "Hey, we saw this cool mod so we're going to use it since we fail as developers"

Then again, that's what almost every developer does, they get all the glory and ignorant gamers will say mods are useless and overrated.

Funny how this game is nothing, before it was the best RPG ever..

Anyway. I thought Sony was picking up publishing rights for the sequel? At least that's what I read after DS got pretty good sales and surpassed expectations.

Reach doesn't play anything like Halo 1-3. The only thing that would carry over is knowing the basics of Halo, which isn't that complicated to begin with considering almost every game has the same basics.

Can't say I play much anything else other than military shooters, this is possibly the fist sci fi shooter that I'm really putting a lot of time into. Socom, now that's the shooter I own at ... all this jumping while unloading an entire clip and constant throwing grenades while still having to melee a dude to drop him is pretty fresh to me.

So yea I do feel like I'm behind the curb when it comes to Halo Reach. I'm still learning how to approach each scenario and the higher I rank up the harder the competition is getting.

Well, jumping is pretty useless in Reach. No need to unload an entire clip, just pick up a DMR/Needle Rifle and it's about 5-6 shots to the head.

Yeah, Socom is the ****..well was. When I made the transition from Socom into Halo 2 it felt really weird at first. I didn't like Socom 3/Combined Assault that much so I looked for a new shooter to occupy me. Being such a hardcore Sony fanboy, I never saw myself playing Halo and yet, it's now my favorite shooter franchise on PC/Xbox/PS/Nintendo systems.

I kid, I kid. K/D only matters depending on what you play TBH, I play a lot of objective type and my K/D is still quite high (1.5 or 1.6), but more important is win/loss. No fun getting kills when you lose.

Also, OMG the grenade launcher is a lot better than in the beta, I was destroying people, and got a sick kill across the map with it, timed to perfection.

Trust me I've adjusted all the options to make it the fastest 1,000,000 points possible. I have tons of skulls on and it's pretty much impossible to die, and if you did, you'd have infinite lives anyway. You down?

I DL'd and updated one of the previous created 1m Firefight gametypes, finished mine in about 20 minutes.

You're assuming his age in Reach. He appears younger probably due to his face not being a box like it was in Halo CE.
