So, it is following innovation, or just ripping off?EnigManic

Alright, I got a PS3 when I wanted to get a blu-ray dvd player, and have played three games on it since getting it: Drake's Forutune, CoD4 and MGO Beta. Out of the three only the first used the feature and it was only when walking across a tree fallen over a gap. It's really not that used.

The Halo games... I like them, but they are nothing great. To me they seem like standard FPS with one boring storyline.Contra_Dk

My friend said that to me. I replied with "True, the sequels are lacking, and Halo sucks in today's standards. But what made Halo great was that it was a great fun shooter that wasn't hyped or expected. True you could say it was a little hyped, it was Xbox's Killer App for the opening system, but did you expect it?"

Wow, this is weird. I was thinking the same exact thing today

http://www.gamespot.com/pages/forums/show_msgs.php?topic_id=26363584

Some kind of collective conciousness bubble has popped up and we're thinking of westerns now. Lol.

Anyways, I've been waiting for a perfect western to come out for the Pc. I want it to be a FPS, with a realistic six shooter. Gun fights would be quick and brutal and after six shots you'd have to be under cover and it'd take a while to reload. I think it would be great if it was set in a central town and you as the main character could go on a path to become a lawful sherrif, outlaw, and a run of the mill cattle farmer. Shooting wouldn't be a central part of the game, but always in the back of your mind since it was the old west. At some points in the game you might spend more time tooling around the Salon playing poker or trying to decide how to spend your money to buy supplies for a trip you're taking to the next town.

Johnadel

I would definitly get that, sound sawesome and just plain fun.

i'm glad it's not over-rated personally. Games tend to Hype up alot, especially sequels. I was a little dissapointed in Mass Effect's length, only 15-20 hours per playthorugh including sidequests when I was promised at minimum 40 just for Main quests. MGS isn't the world's most accessible game, I was playing the beta of MGO earlier today and thought: "Wow, I like this Online better than CoD4, but still CoD4 is more acessible to casual gamers".

Whenever I see a video review on places like gamespot ign and G4(back when it was entertaining) they would show videos of games in picture perfect. is there a device you need to get to do that, or something like that? I mean on console games, I know about FRAPS for the PC.

I read somewhere here on gamespot that Age of Conan is going to be on the 360. IS that true? And if so will they charge more than the normal Live charge?
