re install, happens to me a hell of a lot in cod2 and it worked for me when it happened just a few hours ago with cod4

Monitor: 17" CRTx2 dual screen

Speakers/Headphones: Razer Barracudas HP-1

Operating System: Windows XP Home 32-bit







Also got a iBook G4 from school, real nice for word docs or surfing the web.

lol thanks guys, guess I will hook the other monitor up. Blind spot in the middle of gaming ? i thought games only played on the primary monitor. :/

Was thinking about getting another one of my old monitors out and dual screening it. is there any negatives to doing this (besides less space :P ) will my games take a FPS hit that is noticeable ? Can you keep web windows open on the other monitor while gaming ? any other notable pros or cons please let me know.

I play CSS and it is great fun. I have been playing Counter-Strike for about 5 years now and it never gets old for me. I take some time off here and there but it is alot of fun if you get a regular server with admins. aztecnero

yea just find a good server that you like or some of your friends go to. it will get boring after a month or 2 though...when that happens i suggest finding a team and doing some scriming or league play. since i got into that that is all i do know, hate pubbin :P

anything you could recommend to me in the 5.1 headphones department... don't know to much about audio. heard turtle beach was good.

dude...headphones usually dont have kicking bass like a subwoofer...darkmagician06

I know, but the front speakers sound normal...the back is pure treble, ear piercing treble.

i already bought them :/ they sound great. just in game with 5.1 enabled the back speakers are lacking bass. wanted to know how the sound card is and if that would help any.
