[QUOTE="Zlychop"][QUOTE="freedomfreak"]I can't hear you over the sound of Bayonetta 2 being exclusive.freedomfreakBayonetta is like DMC, NG, and those kind of action games. It's good but like I said nothing to spend $300 over, not even close. I totally agree. That's why I'm spending 350 dollars on it. Don't be surprised to see it go multiplat once the sales for it flop on the Wii U. It's a 3rd party game, and not casual those 2 things make for a Wii U game that won't sell.

how about a counter on my part ,
what if people are sick of the same ol console they had for 7 yrs already , how long has this gen gone on
2 how about the fact the wii u can run games at 1080 p full hd standard not upscalled to 1080p but are 720 p standard , or below hd ,
3 the ram wiiu has is more ram then ps3 and 360 -more enemies on screen more detail what ever , it is whether you like it or not better in that dept and is a next gen console
4 a choice of controls , - no other console gives you as many choices wii u does , face it , it does everything motion touch , camera voice , standard etc ,
5 what if people have already got enough satisfaction with ps3 360 wii that they want something new , think about it , no im not talking graphics that part was already covered,
you cant honestly think people are going to pass on wii u simply because they already own ps3 360 , wii u has exclusives to you know like zombie u bayonetta , nsmb 2 nintendo land pikmin 3 , i think many people who buy video games in general will enjoy it , its not a wii again where all it is is a gc with new controller , this console is already poised to have what others have asked for , -hd , third party , 1080 p standard , at 60 fps , and backwards compatibility ,
for 300 dollars at least gets you all this and its xmas, ---if they already own a ps3 360 wii 3ds vita ds etc what else could they get for xmas that theyd be happy with- ---- wii u will be a success

If PS3 and 360 owners want something they new, why would they flock to another current gen system (the Wii U)?
They would flock to the PC.
Still waiting for reply that has anything to do with the original topic at hand.
Typical of sheep to ignore topics that own them
;)
Darkdude, dude this is hilarious.
They say we log in and out between post, lol if that's the case.
Prove it.

I watched the Wii-U preview presentation about 3 days ago in it's entirety; and the crowd was dead.
Honestly, after seeing games like NintendoLand (which has Wii graphics) and knowing that the Wii-U's launching the same exact way as the Wii, I'd say there's no reason to buy it whatsoever. (Afterall, who wants to play 2010-2011 games again under a different name. Nintendo's stupid enough to think they're able to "fix" Ninja Gaiden 3.)
It's only going to be a big hit with soccer moms who are counting on it for Christmas, but to hardcore gamers such as ourselves- It's gimmickware. lol
darkdude2k12
The soccer moms probably won't bite this time, there is no real motion control gimmick with Wii Sports bundled it anymore.
Soccer moms already have an Ipad, they don't need a Wii U:)
You're right. But Nintendo believes they're able to launch another Wii (except the Wii-U has that 2007 HD power at best) and it's obvious by watching Nintendo Direct or the Nintendo channel on the Wii. They're banking on Wii sports, family fun and Tablets to "revolutionize" gaming lol. The only real talk that's going on Wii-U related is the fact that Sheep think it's going to be drastically different. It's not. I could give a crap about Bayonetta 2. Nintendo is praying that Nintendo Land has the Wii Sports type of fad that the Wii had. Unfortunately for them, it's not going to happen. It's funny how Bayonetta suddenly became relevant now that it's on a Nintendo consoles, the game is good but nothing special.Just like the Wii, amirite?
God, that system was such a failure. It didn't sell at all.

Wii Bundled with Wii Sports + Drunk people, Grandmas, soccer moms + playing Wii Boxing/Bowling = Profit.
It sold over the gimmick, it was the "hot" thing to get because people played Wii Sports at a friends house and were like this is awesome! Only to realize the system sucks when the novelty ended.
I've seen this happen a lot with the Wii, even my Gamestop admits it sucks lol.
The Wii U gimmick won't work, tablets already invaded its space therefore the gimmick craze Nintendo wants won't happen.
Funny how the Wii can sell almost double than its competitors have less sales for games on average ANNUALLY, hmm I wonder why....

For such a Nintendo hater, you sure are following them closely. That's some nice dedication you got there... ;)
Just admit it, you love them, and you know it!
Darkdude at least does research before saying he doesn't like something. None of this is blind hate, it's an actual thought processed statement. Funny how, I'am yet to get a logical argument from anyone who thinks the Wii U will actually succeed. Everything points against it's success.[QUOTE="Zlychop"]
The Wii U has 1 year to convince gamers as to why the system is worth it it.
The Wii U is a massive risk not for only the consumers but for Nintendo as well.
Before you flame me, think about this....
Why should anyone with a PS3 or 360 should buy a Wii U at launch.
The Wii wasn't a great system and people aren't craving for another version for it, it's long forgotten.
Nintendo still hasn't established a legitimate online service like that of PSN, XBL, and Steam.
360/PS3 owners will get the same games as the Wii other than exclusives.
The Wii U at launch has a bunch of games people played and beat months ago like ME3 and Batman.
The Wii U also isn't that cheap, expect MS/Sony to drop the prices of their consoles again in order to counter the Wii U launch.
Exclusives to the PS3/360 (although some of these are specific per console) like Halo 4, The Last of Us, Gears of War judgement, Forza, Dishonered, GTA V, and Dead or Alive 5 will be keep owners of these consoles satisfied for awhile to come.
I fail to see why anyone who is in the current gen as in PS3/360 should buy a Wii U especially since the PS4/Xbox 3 will be coming soon with very powerful hardware.
There is a risk of the Wii U ending up like the Wii (no 3rd party support) once PS4/Xbox 3 come out.
Nintendo literally has 1 year to prove to gamers that their console is worth it otherwise it will flop harder than the Gamecube (which wasn't a bad system) in sales.
The casuals are gone and they actually need to deliver this time, their company (Nintendo) is on the line here.

I'm not going to lie, opening the box of the Wii U and playing it for the first time will probably be an epic experience (novelty) but after a week or two everything starts to set in and you realize the controller isn't any better than other forms of gaming.
I expect this to be a common occurance.
