I haven't seen this argument in a while. Probably because it never works.
PCs excel at a lot of tasks they were never designed for. They weren't originally designed for game development either, but they seem to handle that just fine, do they not?
A console is nothing more than a gimped PC with no freedom. Anything you can do on a console you can do on a PC besides playing the occasional exclusive... which comes down to business, not the design of a PC.

If you consider a console a gimped PC then I guess every electronic is a "gimped" PC then.
Consoles aren't gimped PC's, while they use similar tech they function completely different.
When you can pop in a disc right at the start of your PC and begin playing a game without any extra sidework needed to start the game, get at me. ok?
