I remember a developer about a year back was talking about VR and warned thag that the #1 way to make people sick was in combining VR with a normal game control configuration. Showing the camera moving when your not moving your head, etc.
I personally don't suffer from any kind of motion sickness. However I will let others be guinea pigs for this. I have a bad feeling that "$400 head mounted puke machine" will be the most charitable review it will get.
The game is not coming this year. It's been a 2016 release for a long time. Just wish Hello Games would figure out that you don't go on a big press tour and then do nothing afterwards. I'm done with Sean Murray, clearly likes the hype more than shipping. The curse of indie development. 1 guy who is doing 5 jobs and perhaps doing 2 well.
Wonder why Rockstar never gets this reaction with GTA. Every one of the games plays basically the same. It's comfortable to know "how to play" beforehand.
Let's see Microsoft try to spin THIS as a good thing. They have been getting spanked every quarter since launch, but somehow claim they are "still winning!" That kinda denial almost requires some form of high-grade pharmaceutical to cure.

That's what I'm spending $399 to get, more responsive menus o-O
That being said, this is not a shock, the real dazzle of the next gen will relly only show on the exclusive titles for each machine, not on the cross-platform /cross-generation titles. Gonna take 6-12 months to see that.
