@shiss27: Onlive did this on PC, and people bashed it to death (literally, it's gone now because of the amount of people that bashed it without trying it), why are people praising this on PS4 all of a sudden?
@Daelusca: It's talking a complete boot, not a wake up for sleep mode. 20% on all loading times mind you, not just booting. It would make a significant difference in some games.
@mr_nee: The only part you are correct about is the money from candy crush. you are 100% wrong about everything else. Blizzard and activision are partners, Blizzard is not owned by activision, and they most certainly still publish their own games. Just google this man, the information is freely available. When the partnership started it was stated clearly that Blizzard would remain fully independent when it comes to their own games. Activision has no input in the creation or distribution, it's 100% up to Blizzard to do with their products.
Why do you think Blizzcon is called Blizzcon, and not Activisioncon. Being 100% honest as someone who plays Blizzard games on the regular, if it wasn't for articles like this you wouldn't even still know Blizzard and activsion were partners. They've had no effect on Blizzard's development.
@justbefahad: As I've said to other posts Blizzard still functions fully as their own independent developer and publisher. it's a shame that every time activision makes a stupid decision that people like to drag Blizzard's name through the mud.
@Kjranu: They still fully function as an independent developer and publisher of their own games. You could bet money this was 100% an activision buyout. it's unfortunate that Blizzard's name gets dragged through the mud when activision makes a stupid decision.
@putaspongeon: I'll freely admit they reshash sometimes, but there are some VERY good games as well. Gears of war retribution, metro 2033, and last light, Tomb Raider definitive on xbox one, Army of two, and the list goes on and on. yes there are some blah games every now and then, and the occasional rehash (this is just recently started happening), but for the most part it's a fantastic value.
Also you have to remember, and be fair. A game you don't like and call shovelware someone else may love.
@putaspongeon: Wouldn't get free games? Even if you only play them once they're free. The value is still good. Whether you personally get every game that comes out doesn't factor into it at all. The value is still there, it's just up to you to press that install button.
Not taking the free games doesn't devalue the package, it just makes you silly for turning down free stuff so you'll have something to complain about.
