Boston is an awesome setting. They basically confirmed this setting last year. The selling point will be MIT, which will feature prominently in the game as some kind of twisted technology hub.

They should have done something like Denver or Alaska that has a recognizable landscape and different terrain.

Isn't that the entire joke behind Ron Burgandy? Nothing gets by you.

Can you quit making topics please? They always turn out to have random useless sources.

I already have a PC and a 360, and I won't be getting it regardless.

The real fact of the matter is that there are two types of people in gaming:

Console gamers: Do you prefer to pick up your console out of the box and plug it in to play? Do you prefer a streamlined interface with plenty of good exclusives? Do you not have 700-1000$ to drop on a PC?

PC gamers: Do you prefer to select each piece of your machine and assemble it yourself? Do you prefer and open interface where you can do whatever you please? Do you like tweaking and playing with graphics settings and Mods?

At the end of the day people will always talk shit about people who don't share their beliefs, but people like different gaming platforms for different reasons. Console gamers care less about specifics and just want to play games, whereas PC gamers was to craft their gaming experience to be specifically suited for them.

Its cool that the OP switched to PC gaming, I personally prefer it as well. But why can't we all just play games and enjoy ourselves? Console gamers are not peasants and PC gamers are not hermits, we are just different types of gamers who can't seem to get along for some reason. That reason being because a console fan will fight to the death to explain why the console is a better value but the PC gamer doesn't care about value or convenience or anything, they love their custom made machine or at least I do.

System Wars must now self destruct.

I haven't played Skyrim, but my god - is the game really that unpolished?!

Yea the vanilla version is horrible even on Ultra on PC.

The console versions are both abominations.

It takes a ton of mods to make it (pretty) nice, and yet vanilla Witcher 2 is still better looking

I don't think modders will truly fix the unpolished nature of this game, animations are awful, characters seem to glitch out and teleport, nothing is smooth, sounds are poorly timed, graphics (vanilla) are ugly, script seems pretty terrible. It reminds me of games on the PS2 in all of those regards. Clearly all of the effort put in this game was to create a large, *empty*, *ugly* world from what I can gather. Unless a modder/team is willing to practically redo a lot of the games scenes I don't think much will be changed.

Graphical mods will just serve to polish the turd with pretty filters and effects, sometimes new shaders and better textures.

Ferrel, 2 years ago I was playing games with significantly more polish than this, heck, I was playing games with significantly more polish in 2008.

Typical Bethesda game.

You can also definitely tell that the PS4 struggles in some places with BF4. For example, Siege of Shanghai. When the building collapses, if you are nearby, you will get massive framerate drops.

Why are the lems behaving like mongs? Are they incapable of graceful movement?

I still don't understand why master chief is in that gif. Shouldn't it be soldiers from Call of Duty? After all, CoD killed Halo.

If "replayability" equals multiplayer, then that takes my vote. Having no replayability is unacceptable to me when games are costing $60 a pop. Quality single player games should be priced at $40 max. Luckily, I have a PC.
