well you should see my problems with GTA4 that game won many game of the year awards and i absolutely hated that game to. I dont hate a game because it is popular but games like Bioshock and GTA imo did not deserve game of the year awards. that is just my opinion of course.
I agree that GTA 4 shouldn't have won GotY. That game was good, but definitely not a 10
And btw, Bioshock wasn't a game built mainly around gun play, enemies, difficulty etc. Bioshock's main component was it's great story. I agree that the gun play is kind of underwhelming, and the combat felt a bit awkward, but what made the game so enjoyable was the story, the great voice acting, and tremendous atmoshpere (i thought it was great)
Yep I was thinking the same.You can say what you want about bioshock,bought to criticise it from a design perspective is absurd imo.Its been almost universally praised for its distinct and atmospheric art-deco look.
i didnt only criticise it from its design i also said it couldnt figure out if it wanted to be a shooter or not. The gameplay was lame IMO. Bad shooting, enemies were boring, plasmids were meh.
Gameplay is very important to me and Bioshock failed.

meh never liked the first one. I didnt like the fact that it could never figure out if it wanted to be a shooter or not. That really bugs me. plus the design was just boring and drab. I know that is how bioshock was suppose to be but i just could not stand rapture.
