Comapre both versions based on the following components:
- Controller
- Graphics
- Sound
- Performance/Glitches
So far, I got PD0, PGR3, and Kameo for free....each time due to my 360 breaking down on its own. I threatened to make a report to the media about it.
MS somehow kept me happy....they're lucky they got got games on the 360, if not.....
I have both systems, and I always try to buy the best version of a game. So I tested out Oblivion on both the 360 and the PS3.
This is how I personally see the difference between the two systems when it comes to Oblivion:
Xbox 360
+Custom Soundtrack
+Vivid colors
+Achievement Points - incentive to complete side missions
+Rumble with controller (a big plus when attacked from the back)
+Downloadable Content
-Loading times slower by 6-10 seconds than the PS3 version
-Lots of pop-ins
PS3
+HDMI connection
+Nicer textures
+Further horizon
+Faster loading by 6-10 seconds than the 360 version
+Not as much pop-ins
-No custom soundtracks
-No rumble (needed when attacked from the back)
-No DLC (that might change though, but when???)
-No incentives to complete all missions (PS3 needs some type of achievement points)
If things don't change, could this be a trend in future multi-platform games?????
[QUOTE="casey7672"][QUOTE="General909"]Could Microsoft and Gamestop be working on a deal where current owners of Xbox 360 Premiums (and Core owners who later bought the hard drive) could trade in their consoles for the new Xbox 360 Elite? Two accounts involving Gamestop management hint towards "Yes

Every PS3 is Elite!
For $600 it better be.
^^ you don't know how to count and compare properly? ....filthy child :D
I think I'll take everything I said back......as some of you know my 360 has just been sent for replacement.
So my conclusion is that the game(s) is/are awesome, but going through more than one console is starting to get to me.
I know that others have vented their frustrations of the 360 version locking up, DRE, etc....so I'm not the only one feeling...."manic depressive" about it.
Then again......I love the achivement points!!!
