Take it from me when I say that I use a five year old fat Apex 20" tv and the graphics still look so amazing and reaistic but, I'm also not saying that playingon a HDTV isthat much better, I say that if you can use an HDTVuse one, but if not playingon a standard tv won't ruin your PS3 experience.

I had a similar problem when I first got my wireless router. My internet connection on my PC was lagging and kept dropping out cause one of my neighbors also had a wireless router on channel 6.(I was playing WoW at the time). I fixed it by changing my wireless channel from 6 to 11. To do this type 192.168.1.1 into you internet address bar. The default login and password should be admin(You may have set your own password when you set up your router). Then go to wireless setting and change your wireless channel to 11. This may or may not fix your problem.ultima-flare

ok ill try it thx for the advice

check the settings on your router. Change them according to your PS3 Settings.

if you can't get anything to work, reset your ps3 online settings.

I need help to go online on the PS3 wirelessly. I know it works because I've had it working before but now the connection is on and off. So does anybody here know how to change the channel of a 60GB PS3? Mine is on channel 6 and I think that is my problem for not having a stable connection to the internet. So can anybody out there help me? Please reply back. Or personal message me through gamespot, or instant message me on aim, my aim screen name is flipstardragon. Help will be appreciated!

It's a security measure. If you want to chat online, change it to nat 2. It's ok to change your ps3 to nat 2 because it can't get viruses. Don't change it for your computers though.playstation_wii
how do you change it 2 NAT 2 on the PS3?
