Yes, I have to say I agree with you. The young man has a problem with his friends looking at his mother with lust in their eyes because he understands the emotions of lusting after a woman, being a male himself, of course. The problem starts when the young man realizes that his natural territorial instincts are clashing with his natural tendencies of being loyal to his friends, and not causing them any undue stress. The young man is at a crossroads because he does not know whether to alienate those whom he has befriended, in the interest of honoring his mother, or to simply ignore the energy directed towards his mother by his male friends, in the interest of maintaining their friendship, which he obviously deems valuable.

If I was the one to make the decision, I would say that the young man should try and understand that his friends are also verile young men much like himself, and try to understand his friends attraction towards his mother. It should make sense to him that they would be attracted to a beautiful female whom they have no genetic bond to. At the same time, allowing his mother the freedom to allow her beautiful form to dance through the breeze, unobstructed by the restrictive nature of clothing, if she wishes to do so, as a woman who has undertaken the time and effort to maintain her natural beauty, deserves to show what she's earned to the rest of the world, if she pleases.
