yea that pisses me off too when i go to buy a "new" game and they have to put the game into the case. one time i went to buy my brother a few games for his birthday and when i was nearly home i opened one of the cases to see the booklet and there was no game in  the case or any of the cases. i had to go all the way back to get them to put the games into the cases. i just assumed since the games were shrink wraped they had the games in them but i guess not.

its also kinda like a new car is new when its in the lot but as soon as you drive off the lot with it then it is used. so why would you consider a new game to be new when it has left the case. i know it doesnt really make a big difference but i would still consider it used.

i can see why nintendo put fc's into their games. it is to keep young kids safe from internet preditors and to have a safe community of people to play with. it also gives parents a safe feeling knowing their kids cant interact with strangers while on wifi. but they take friend codes too far. you should have to enter your year of birth in system settings and if you are under 13 you have to use friendcodes and if you are over 13 you shouldnt have to. it pisses me off that i have to go onto the internet and find other peoples fc's just so i can enjoy wifi play. i will put my name on whatever petition you have for nintendo to loosen up on the friend code.

but i doubt we will have any progress with getting rid of fc's. fc's are going to screw the wii's wifi up aswell.

i have had to return 4 or 5 ds lites because they kept sending me broken ones.  basically you phone them up and tell them what problem you are experiances and they tell you some address then you go down to the post office and send them your ds. in 5-7 business days you will get a refurbished ds back.

their customer service for the most part is great but you will get the occassional idiot. if you are sending it back because of dead pixels or some cracks. you may get a idiot who tells you they will not repair it under warranty but you can pay 50 or so dollars to get it repaired. if this happens just hang up and phone them again until you get someone who will replace it under warranty for you

1. It says "This is the english version" and the box has Japanese characters on it.
2. It is clearly not a DS box.
3. You aren't supposed to post about Homebrew/Emulators on here.Yarcofin

he didnt mention anything about emulators he just had a link to a store that happend to sell a device that uses emulators.

anyway man i dont know if it is a real store or not. but i can tell you this if there was enough of a suspicion that you had to come onto the forums to see if it was legit or not i would say dont shop there. there is a chance the store could be fake and just be taking your money. or it also could be legit but they probably dont offer quality products, packaging, secure shipping, and warranties. i would say go to a trusted site.

I want to do this because I own Hiite Utaeru DS Guitar M-06. The guitar game. :P

But I'm not sure if I want to try it.

Maxwell_

i doubt there will be any damage. and if your still under warranty just phone nintendo and get it replaced. i dont believe any where in the warranty info it says dont plug your ds into an amplifier. but they could get you with you not using a first party accessory but a third party. any way i doubt it will do damage and if it does im sure nintendo would replace it just dont tell them you plugged it into your amp.

Some of you may remember a thread i posted a few weeks back about all my ds lites i had to send back to be replaced because they kept sending me deffective ds lites.

http://www.gamespot.com/pages/forums/show_msgs.php?topic_id=25439659

Well yesterday nintendo phoned me (well they phoned my mom cause she was the one who sent in the ds lites) and they were on the phone for a while and my mom told them about having all the defective ds lites and how she was dissapointed that they were all defective and this had never happend with any other nintendo product we have bought. then the guy starts telling her this is rare to have happen. And then he starts offering her a free gift. he said he would give us a nintendo usb wifi connector, some stylus', some wrist straps or a nintendo power subscription. I just said i would take the usb connector because i didnt really want anything else and i have a trial subscription for nintendo power already and dont really read it. i already have a usb connector but its kinda broke but still works. i will just give that one to my friend so he can use it for his wii.

It doesnt change the fact that i have recieved many faulty ds lites from nintendo. but i guess it was nice of them to give me this gift most companies customer service would just be like "i am sorry that you are experiancing problems with our product, if you send it back we will replace if for you". im not 100% satisfied with my current ds lite becuase it has a few stuck pixels which bug the crap out of me and a yellow tinted screen but i will live with it because theres no way im sending it back again.
