Wow, out of all the games that are out right now you can't find 1 you want to play? I pity you. I for one am happy playing supreme commander and STALKER on my pc and playing crackdown and dead rising on my 360 (dead rising was on special in EB and i hadn't played it before).
I got a widescreen LCD for xmas and the first game i loaded up was serious sam 2, and i was in shock at how awesome it was. Widescreen games at 1440x900 or greater is so great.
@ those saying that the episodes are half life 3. This has neither been denied or confirmed so you can't know for certain, and valve will most likely make more and more half life games after the episodes.
Also, valve has said that they are making 4 episodes, I don't have a link but if you just visit the steam forums then it will tell you there
I bet you that Halo 3 sells great in Australia. :D

well it should since microsoft will hire some guy to dress up as master chief and dance around at football games (like they did with halo 2) and you know how much we aussies love our football.

I have CSS,RO,HL1/2EP1 so I can run Source(the programed that engine so damn good!) I thought I needed vistas or something.
Left 4 Dead is just another source game that'll be availiable in stores and on Steam. I'm %99 sure there's nothing Vista required about it.

Well currently a lot of source games are having issues with Vista, so it would be kind of wierd if the developers made it vista only
I live in Australia, in a part that is classified as "country" and HD-DVD players are readily available here, just that the actual HD-DVD movies are not (in any of the stores near me, quite possible that Sydney stores have them), even though they have had blu-ray movies available for a while. This should put in perspective of how bad HD-DVD's are being treated elsewhere
I don't know if I will pick up halo 2 on pc. I already have vista so that isn't the problem. The real problem is that I have completed the game on the xbox (I haven't played it online though), so would it really be worth, for me, getting it on pc to?
