Well, I am finally back from a five day visit to my cousins in Pittsburgh. It was really enjoyable, and I got to play Dance Dance Revolution for the first time in my life. It was pretty fun. Among other things, we went Swimming, played with Firecrackers, reeked havoc in various ways upon the neighborhood, watched movies and a lot of other stuff.
Ironically, before I could even add in "Lumines" to "Games I am currently playing" section, I had already left for Pittsburgh. I actually rented the game right after I left the house, so I have been playing it on and off. It is/was suprisingly enjoyable and extremely addictive. My high score from memory is about 70,000, but I hear people can get past 100K! I am probably going to submit a review for it eventually. If you don't already know, it is for the PSP, and is a puzzle game, much like tetris. The concept is very simple. You stack blocks to make squares of the same color to get points. There are a couple other elements to the game, and loads of levels, but it is really fun. I must admit that when I first picked it up, I felt like returning it because of its weirdness, and what seemed like high difficulty. As you first start, eventually you will find out what the game is like, and will be greeted by the only annoying song in the game...of course its on the first level! why wouldn't it be???!!! >:( As you advance you unlock "skins" (backgrounds) which have different designs and music. I seriously am considering buying this game...if only I could get past "Talk 2 Me"!!! It is so fast-paced (though, I haven't really tried)! I am stuck before 100,000. Everyone says that once you get past that point, it is really easy to get higher scores...
Death Jr. comes out tommorow. The Limited Edition is available only through reservation. Today is the last day to reserve it, and I think since it is so close to the release date, you can only reserve it online. (only through EB games and gamestop) I don't even think I will be able to get it right away because of money reasons. Game Informer actually says it doesn't have good playability (it gave it a 7/10), but I fell in love with the cast of characters as soon as I saw their names, pictures and descriptions. What's better than playing as the son of the grimreaper right?
Perhaps Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories. Coming out in the end of this year, I think October, it looks to be an awesome game. I can't wait. The Godfather is also coming out Q1 2006 for both the PS2 and PSP (and other platforms). I definitely want to get it for the PS2. I am still debating on it for the PSP.
I am on the 200,000 criminal mark (capo) in Vice City. I plan to get to 300,000 tonight.
I also noticed my level increased dramatically to level 3. How did this happen? Last time I checked, I was on level two with 74%, and I did not log on one time while I was away! Oh well, its good for me anyways :)
Well, I will type more in later. That's what's new for _klaus_!!!
