I bet you guys havent played this game

Imperium Romanum. I bet you guys haven't played this game…well, well not sure about my 18 friends but I guess most of you. But I'd say that those of you have played SimCiry or city building type games, would kinda like this one. Definitely it was boring at the beginning when I started this game, but gradually I started to like it. It's not that bad…atleast better than Caesar –IV. After playing Caesar-III and Pharaoh-II; I thought that Caesar-IV will make some good impact, but it kinda failed me. I don't know about you guys but I haven't seen anyone playing that who were eagerly waiting for IV. In that sense Imperium Romanum is a better game and has smooth gameplay and doesn't require that much high configured PC. Ofcourse this game has some issues that can be improved to be a perfect suit for gamers.

These days; some or I should say most of the RTS games are coming in total 3D environmental gameplay. But I don't think that has helped us too much. Surely there are benefits but thinking of a smooth gameplay like we're used to, it's quite not there. Think of the gaming environment of Age of Empire-II and Age of Empire-III, you can easily judge the difference. It definitely looks better and more realistic. But that's not the point, if I can't play any game with the pace of my brain and I had to think of my PC's ; upgrade AGP and RAM each time the game get slower. Puts me in a situation that I think of quit playing one of my favorite types of game.

Well I didn't. atleast for any RTS game. I bought what I needed and I upgraded my PC whenever I needed. I've always been loyal to RTS games but they just keep on demanding.

I've got a new game. FarCry Pandemie. This game goesn't have high GS rating but i loved FarCry when i finished that I'm sure i'm gonna love this too. Jack Carver isn't the main role in this game, it's Luca and he's a star. let hope this game'll be facnastic.

Camera 'looks' through clothing

A camera that can "see" explosives, drugs and weapons hidden under clothing from 25 metres has been invented.

The ThruVision system could be deployed at airports, railway stations or other public spaces. It is based on so-called "terahertz", or T-ray, technology, normally used by astronomers to study dying stars. Although it is able to see through clothes it does not reveal "body detail" or subject people to "harmful radiation", according to the designers.

"It is totally and utterly passive - it receives only," said a spokesperson for Thruvision. The portable camera, which has already been sold to the Dubai Mercantile Exchange and Canary Wharf in London, will be shown off at the Home Office scientific development branch's annual exhibition later this week.

Body glow: Unlike current security systems that use X-rays, the ThruVision system exploits terahertz rays, or T-rays. This electromagnetic radiation is a form of low level energy emitted by all people and objects. These are able to pass through clothing, paper, ceramics and wood but are blocked by metal and water. The system works by collecting these waves and processing them to form an image which can reveal concealed objects.

"If I were to look at you in terahertz you would appear to glow like a light bulb and different objects glow less brightly or more brightly," said the firm's spokesperson.

"You see a silhouette of the form but you don't see surface anatomical effects."

In addition, the system does not involve any of the "harmful radiation associated with traditional X-ray security screening", according to the firm. The company has made previous versions of the camera, but the T5000, as it is known, is the first that works both indoors and out. The system exploits technology originally developed at the government owned Rutherford Appleton Laboratory (RAL) in Oxfordshire.

"Astronomers use T-ray cameras that can see through dust and clouds in space, revealing what lies beyond," explained Dr Liz Towns-Andrews, of the Science and Technology Facilities Council which runs RAL.

Other terahertz systems, developed by companies such as TeraView, are used to probe the structure of pharmaceutical compounds.

A Union it's a Game

I've been here at this webiste for couple of weeks and i'm glad that i've found some good place to be with pals. I've talked about sector 7 before and now i'm gonna tell you guys about The Strategist Park.

The Union's pretty good no doubt compared to the ohter unions and the leader himself is a master of role playing. when you enter to TSP, you feel like you're playing a game and it's a strange feelings. There's nothing more I want to tell you guys, but just have a look and get that feeling by yourself. clicky

New Emblem

I saw most of you guys have three butterflies but I have one and the description of this emblem is quite funny. Here take a read, if you haven't yet.

NE
Love thy neighbor.
Those who are neighborly have a good number of mutual friendships, and the community as a whole is better off for them. Perhaps these individuals, in actuality, live in college dorm rooms, parents' basements, dingy apartments, or other such facilities devoid of actual, physical neighbors. Like, you know, the ones who come over to ask to borrow a cup of sugar or to use your lawnmower? Those worthless freeloaders, I swear... Oh, never mind.

And I've finally found the problem with my computer. The HDD has bad sector and that's the reason I couldn't install XP. I took that to the service sentre and the fixing charge is more than a new one :P guess I'll just buy a new one and finish the misery my computer's having.

i'm sorry guys

last two days have been like hell. i've changed my computer motherboard and the damn rams weren't working. every time i try to install xp, the screen goes to blue and some sorts of error message showsup... eventually i couldn't access the internet..i've tried to come online through my cell phone but couldn't stay for too long. it costs like sh*ts.

anyway, here am i today..didn't go to work...still trying to fix my computer and didn't prepare a project presentation which i have to present tomorrow. now i'm again form my cell phone form a cafe, mailing my boss that i'm sorry and sharing this with you guys.

hopefully i'll fix my computer by tonight. so this is for my union mates that, i'll be back tomorrow :) kinda missed you guys for last two days..
