Sony "shipped" 1 million PS3's to NA, but only sold 700k
They just announced today they "shipped" 1 million PS3s to Japan, but they sold less than 600k so far.
dude get ur facts strait,, they shipped 1mil to NA,, sold 700k in US,, so they r not counting Canada
yes there are still consoles unsold (to customers that is), but the same goes for the 360,, u think 10.4mil 360s sold to ppl? think again...
and the Japan sold 600k in Dec... the 1 mil shipped as of 2nd week of Jan,,, again get the facts right
edit: and one of the main reason ppl are looking for the europ update is games (Lair, HS, Motorstorm...) and the big network update

i dont get my facts from a website,, go watch the CES sony announcement,, he said "1 mil PS3s in NA" not in the US,, and the NPD number only said in the US
......And any words out of Sony mouth is a pot of gold right?.....Ohh wait......RIIIIIDDDGGGGEEEE RRRRRAAAACCCCCEEEEERRRRR, 4-D, Next gen don't start until we say it does, we can sell 5million PS3 without games, Giant Crabs, 2 million units at launch, 4 million by years end and 6 million units by March.........Do you really think you can trust Sony?

in this situation if i dont trust them, that means they shipped less,, which means they actually sold out in the US, which they obviously didnt
and i do trust that the nxt gen starts with them,, wanna go to MS lies,, ok,, werent they the one who said 1080p not needed? then when they released the 1080p they say it's the true expirience (wow talk about hepocrits (sp?)),,
and i think the 6 mil by March end is indeed atainable
