*watches flames fly*
Please, just stop.
In all favor of the TC, the point he is trying to make is that the Wii has yet to hit its golden age. I will admit that I have not played my Wii for a while now. Even my 360 has gotten old. Why? This is the time of year where all the huge games are revealed, but none of them are being released until late fall/the holiday season. The Wii is on a drought of decent games. That is at least something most of us can agree on. The good games mentioned are okay for a while, but after completing each one and doing all there is to do, there's nothing to keep you hooked. The VC games are great, but every now and then, you really want to play something new. Right now, it all seems like a blurred mixture of bad games, especially with games like Battle Revolution and Chicken Shoot hitting shelves.
The Wii seems to have lost what made it appealing in the first place. The motion sensing controlsmany third-party publishers have createdare all extremely uncomfortable. Perhaps the only decently controlled games are first party at the time. I've had my Wii for six months now, and it's losing its appeal. Wii Sports can only last so long, too. Many of the Wii's games have caused me to drop the controller midway through a game and never play it again. It's like you lose intrest suddenly. This, I can guarantee, has happened to everyone somewhere along the line, and for me, it just so happens that it occurs mostly while playing Wii games.
Does that mean I'm going to sell my Wii? No. Does that mean no good games will ever hit the Wii? No. You witnessed for yourself in the E3 press conference what was up Ninty's sleeves. Come this holiday season, interest will return with the massive titles promised at E3.
Do we have to spark a flame war? Really? Once Brawl is here, everyone will be happy.
No thank you. I do not need a flame shield.
I've seen people play this game like addicts. The game is sorta like a drug... plus it's 156-180 bucks a year... read my review for anyone interested...
Anyone agree? What is it about this game that makes everyone go ga-ga? It's sorta like Runescape if you ask me...at leat on the addicting level.
