and who the hell are 'they'? really, who? you couldn't present a list of all the people in the world who constitute this group, not if you were goddamn omniscient, because it's a little more ambiguous than 'them'. yeah, there's always some psychos out there, but they are few and in between.
you may be referring to al Queda? guess what! they are doing what you say they're doing, only not where you live. they're blowing up their own countrymen on the other side of the world and that's their plan for the forseeable future, so you probably don't need to worry about yourself too badly.

what? how is he showing fear? what he said is completely rational and true. The last thing they want is for us to keep our guard up. and besides, they don't want us to fear, they want us to die.
again, who's this 'they' people you keep talking about? it's not rational if you can't even name a specific thing to be down about. I'm not advocating the abandonment of airport security, I'm advocating the abandonment of paranoia. there is no reason to think that we are on the brink of a major terrorist attack, but it's the point of any one endeavor to perpetuate those attacks to inspire their expectation, and therefore, fear.

"they" = radicals who want to harm anyone who doesn't agree with them. Man, you guys have a hard time understanding what you read, huh? I never said kill them all, I said they will not stop unitl they are all dead. And anyone with the "we are much safer now" attitude is going to have a SERIOUS wake up call when we are hit again. Do you REALLY the US gov't is capable of protecting us? There are millions of people here that just stroll in over the borders. Do you think it is that hard to sneak in? The gov't couldn't even catch the guy who mailed anthrax all over. It took them decades to get the unibomber. I do not advocate paranoia. I advocate dilligence. We must keep our guard up. We must secure our borders. We must be prepared for the next attack, that WILL happen. That's all I am saying. These people have no regard for any human life. Not mine, not yours, not their own. Women and children are all targets to them. They will do anything to harm anyone they think is an "infidel".Â
Now just so you don't get your panties in a bunch again, I am NOT talking about Muslims in general. Of course they are not evil as a group. I am specifically referring to radical muslims who are intent on killing innocent people.Â
