GameSpot seems to hate the Wii in general, but this score in particular is low in every review I've seen so far.

It's not great, but it's better than that. I'd say about a 6.5-7.

It's very hard to play it properly, you have to be quite deliberate with your motions. Probably these guys (and IGN) just sucked at the game so they marked it down. You need to put a little time and effort into the controls or else you'll just waggle it like in Zelda, and then you die. And you die a lot.

The first dragon fight was fun, but I die way too much in later levels.

I actually liked Windwaker better than Twilight Princess..

I rented Madden 07 last year and it was surprisingly good! I don't normally like sports games.

However, Wii Sports is, so far, the best sports game for the Wii.

Branch out a little, buy Metroid. It's top-notch.

OK, the Wii doesn't have much for FPS games yet. I'm sure that'll come.

I finished COD3, and I liked it, but the controls felt floaty to me. In all honesty, I preferred the controls in MOH Vanguard, but neither is perfect. You would have enough time in two weeks to finish both of those games, though. I'm a sucker for war games, so I have both, and I'm getting MOH Heroes 2 as well.

Red Steel is ok, but uh, The Godfather is more worth your time. You can EASILY drop 10 hours *a day* into that game. It's great. Scarface has a FPS mode in it, from what I hear, but I haven't played it myself (yet).

I'd definitely go with both war games, that should take you only a couple days, and then finish off the two weeks with The Godfather. If you can't buy all three (eBay is pretty good for this stuff, I just recently got MOHV for $25CDN), then you could just rent the first two, since they are pretty short.

It's a tough game, but it's sometimes fun, especially the dragon fights. I'm guessing that there aren't any reviews yet because nobody has finished it, since it's difficult.

Don't forget to check the games at wiisels, there are more gmes listed than what you have on your list. I don't know if they are all legitimate, but the sites uses Amazon for the release datevnc20100

Actually, I don't use Amazon for release dates at all.. I use a few sites to check, but Amazon isn't one of them. It's tough to keep on top of the games because they constantly change, even up to the day of release. It's a lot of work.
