I knew someone was going to write this when I opened this thread.

Right now there is actually a good reason to NOT own a PS3, especially if you already own a 360. If you look at this list of Top Rated PS3 games you will see that most of the best are on the 360 already. What doesn't show is that many were released on the 360 first. So if you have a 360... the only real reason to get a PS3 at this point in time is for Resistance. That's a lot of money for one game. The PS3 needs a larger game collection and more games that are not already on the 360 before it warrants a purchase.

However, the 360 has over 40 AA and AAA games. Most are not available on the PS3. So gamers do have a lot of gaming options with the 360 they can not find elsewhere. In the future the PS3 will have more exclusive gaming options as well.

It's just the same that someone who prefers PC gaming and has a great gaming PC may not rush out and get a 360, as many of the games can be played on their computer.

If blu ray wasnt an integral part of the PS3, do you honestly think it would be winning against HD-DVD as a standalone player? many say oh its rocking out the HD-DVD, its only cause people buy the PS3, mainly for the gaming aspect rather than a blu ray player, considering each PS3 counts as a blu ray player sold. Sony's main goal with the PS3 IMO( NOTE:I SAID OPINION! im not claiming it as a fact!) is just to raise sales for the blu ray players, they care much less about the gaming aspect of it.snakeofsolid

I just got my PSP two weeks ago so Im kind slacking on the games. But I'll definitely be picking up some more games ASAP. Look out for another updated picture once I get my collection up.
