I've been participating in the beta since last year, and this game is great. You can unlock more characters with "Crisis Coins" which must be purchased with real money. Or alternatively, you can also purchase characters with Merit Points, which one earns by playing matches. (It will definitely take a long time to grind for the best characters, such as Batman, which are rather expensive but effective.)

I've played the beta, it's very good. And the matches are quick, about 25 to 30 minutes, on average.

Why hasn't Gamespot reviewed this game yet?
