DS sales - 40.3 million
Wii sales - 6.5 million

It seems that Nintendo is going the right way, and the numbers prove it. Gamers have realized the necessity of innovation. Sony is starting to realize it with the Sixaxis and I believe that MS is too. Somehow, I doubt that the next Xbox will be like the Xbox or the Xbox 360. I expect some sort of innovation, maybe not motion-sensing, but definately something new.

DS has taken the world by storm. Yes the clearly underpowered handheld toppled Sony's portable behemoth. Why? The innovation, the different way to play games, and most importantly, software that uses it in a fun and refreshing way.

Nintendo appears to be giving a message to it's competitors. And it seems that gamers are also giving a message to their system manufacturers. A message that change is good and will continue to be good.

You know what im talkin about, yes pokemon will be coming out and i will play it for a great dell of time, while playing super paper mario and kingdom hearts 2, i just will have so much to play and pokemon diamonds online will be really fun, but im not going online till i beat the game and im not going to rush it.

I see Banjo taking the graphics to the next level and Galaxy taking the gameplay.

Mario has always been the main innovator in terms of gameplay.
