I dunno, the family stays up on christmas eve and when it hits midnight, technically its already christmas so we start opening up presents.

The only thing I don't like is the fact that now while running folding@homethe hard drive light constantly flashes, before it only flashed every few minutes now it just keeps flashing like crazy non stop while running Folding@home. I disabled music thinking that might be the cause but that didn't stop it. Is this program going to wear out the HDD sooner if it is always writing to the drive now? I take it this is happening with everyone running the new version of folding at home right? It also crashed the 1st time I started it I had to hold down the power button to force the PS3 to turn off but it's running just fine now.

Update the constant flashing has stopped after letting the program run for around 10min and the hard drive light has stopped flashing constantly and has returned to only blinking about once every minute or so just like it was before. Thank god.

I have a question, i never noticed before, but my light stays on while the ps3 is on standby and it flashes pretty much all the time when it is on or when im playing online or a game or whatever... is this normal? I have the 60gb and i have had it since christmas of last year.

forgot to say, cool update, ill probably start folding again when im not using the ps3 to play games

I also had a need for JRPGs, as I only have a PCWii60 right now. I decided to go for the PSP instead of the PS3 since I don't watch HD movies and there are more jrpgs out there for it right now. (Hence why every game I bought is a jsrpg :P)I'm considering picking up some more games when Gamestop has its buy 2 get 1 free used game sale the day after christmas. Gratz on your new toys. I'm considering picking up a component cable, too, but I'm not 100% sold on it yet.

Final Fantasy:Tactics, Monster Hunter Freedom 2, or Brave Story?

I have MHF 1 and it is awesome but i have yet to beat it, i have done all of the elder quests except for kirin and wolas. Have done a couple of the guild quests.

I heard ff:t is good, never played it before

Same with brave story, heard it was a solid rpg
