I have played the untold legends series, which definately kept me busy for a while... decent travel time killing stuff :)

Im just not a fan of the anime aesthetic in rpgs, but i would love to know if there are any decent dark/tolkein/'euro' fantasy ones on the way? Essentially i need oblivion for PSP or something similar - if you know what i mean

possibly a diablo 2 clone or something to grind the hours away on plane trips around the country hehe

would like to ehar any suggestions...

Im an animator and 3d operator in the film industry and have also worked a small amount in games...

I consider it for the most part more design than art - if we had to be technical. There are various briefs and multiple parties to deliver to. However, one of those parties is yourself, and I believe that art plays a huge role in an individuals application of their skills, as well as to some degree the overall vision of a director/helmsperson.

Art is often in the process not the product.

I think games and film VFX can be very artistic as well as fulfill design business briefs. This is one of the reasons i love it!!! ;)

art AND science FTW

worth hearing some opinions about it though.
