A: because ALL games suck right now! if they don't suck they don't live up to the hype, DLCs, Online Passes, Season Passes, Day 1 DLCs, Pre-Order Bonuses, DRM, yearly releases, overhyped games, ruined game series, overrated games, milked franchises, not originality in the AAA business, infinite sequels/prequels, Devs no putting extra time making their awful games look great on consoles, weekly updates fixing glitches and bugs and sometimes even change some gameplay elements for their awful rushed game

now compare that with games released in 1997-2005, come back again
