It took me a while, but I eventually got around to play Lord of Shadows. I had my reservations about it but, while it lacked originality and was so far removed from what Castlevania used to be, it wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be.

Maybe Lost Planets scared them, but it's time for Capcom to think of something new to make. RE and DMC will never be what they used to be, both franchises are old, too old.
