Fact is, America and the rest of the world has always been a violent place. From the days of the Pilgrims to the days of the cowboys to the days of prohibition, to the days of the great wars, crazy, violent people have always been around. Even before Pong reared it's head into this world. Blaming the gaming medium for resent violence is just a cop-out.
