I suppose you could imply that, however I'm relucatnt to belive that the staff at Besthda was lazy and or aptehic about PS3 Skyrim Development. Certainly opinion based on both ends, one thing that is not is an article by John Carmack describing poor PS3 performance and harware issues during experienced during game development.
I play it on a custom built PC, however most people will not shell out the money for a PC, much less one that is high end enough to reap the full of benefits a game like Skyrim. With that said, there are people who can still enjoy the game on consoles, and the point of my comment was that it ran quite poorly (bugs/crashes) on PS3 in comparison to to the 360. While I stick to my PC for core gaming, I'd be willing to bet that of the quote and quote "next gen systems", Xbox will ultimately be recognized in the tech community as the more well-built higher quality product.
Well...since I cant write a review because I'm not a "paid subscriber" or a "level 3 user", I will say that I have actually enjoyed playing this game. While yes, its not perfect or ground breaking by any stretch of the imagination, it is entertaining, has a nice 60's theme/touch, and is graphically appeasing running on a GTX 780 with maxed settings/resolution on a 27" monitor. I would say my biggest complaint is that I wish the developers would have followed suit with the 60's alien sci-fi invasion theme and designed enemies that replicated those seen in classic films such as This Island Earth, Invaders From Mars, It Came From Outer Space, Earth Vs. The Flying Saucers, the list goes on and on. I am new to the XCOM series so I was personally impressed with the combat systems functionality. Could it be tweaked and made better, certainly anything can and I do not feel it is staggering enough to ruin the overall game play experience. To me, it just seemed like a 6 was low and feel it is right around a 7.5-8.3 range. Agree or disagree, I did find enjoyment playing this game!
It will have to be pretty dang good if I'm going to shell out $15 a month, pretty disappointed thus far, not at all a fan of online gaming and subscription fees!
