So they messed up SWG and Everquest... I can see why now. Hopefully DCUO won't get completely ballsed up. Guess we'll just have to wait and see.

I want it to be good... so much... But anythings got to be better than CO.
Just curious, it was a few years before my time, I think. A lot of people seem to despise them, but I can't seem to get a clear answer from a search engine.
My first thought was Green Lantern (I don't know why.) But yeah, upon closer inspection, Deux Ex.
I'm gonna give it a go, I mean there's no harm in trying... is there? I love the concept of a superhero-themed MMO, it just has to be done right. Hint hint, CoH and CO...
Macs have been getting a little more games than before, but still nothing compared to PC. If you just want to play the most popular games, you're probably okay with Mac. The big games usually get ported to Mac. You just might have to wait a while (6-12 months on average). The same goes for patches as well, usually have to wait longer than PC. A lot of the more obscure titles will be PC only. Especially indie games, where the developers won't have the budget for a Mac port. The other thing is that Macs are generally slower with 3D graphics than PCs. Mac graphics drivers are just not as optimized as PC ones. For instance, if you look at PC benchmarks for a game, you can expect 10-20 FPS drop on Mac with the same computer. Apple has done some work with that to improve frame rates, but the frame rates still trail behind PC a bit.

Yeah, essentially the really big games or the really small games are the ones that get ported, WoW always beem available (I think), Sims 3, etc...
Enjoyed Half Life 2 the most. Just the mood, man...
I didn't get into the Beta, but I plan on purchasing it at some point in the near future after it comes out. I have high hopes, hopefully it'll get the things right that Champions and CoH didn't.
Exactly. The flexibility is what makes it.
