When I don't have anything better to do, all day long. 12-16 hours depending on the day, between streaming Netflix over it and playing games. When I'm on break it's common for me to play for hours a day. However, when school is in session (grad student), I play much less. Maybe an hour or two a day.

Silver/Grey. I think everything looks cooler when it emulates metal.

It's cleaner and easier to use. What's not to like? Well, besides the blatent advertisements when you log onto LIVE...I still like it. Almost anything would have been an improvement, though. Their old menus looked like they were made in 1987.

I get a new game about once a month. Maybe slightly more. However, I rarely (maybe twice a year) pay full price for a game - Unless it's something I've been waiting for, I get it used a few months to a year after it comes out.

Don't use it because it'll void your warranty because it uses the xbox's power to run. It doesn't do anything either just a couple of fans that random turn on and off. Just keep your system in a well ventilated area and you shouldn't have a problem.ElPadilla

This is completely true. Your warranty is voided once you attatch it. The reason it doesn't work is because it forces more power usage by sucking the Xbox's power, which, in turn, can cause the system to overheat more. If your area is well-ventilated (like, not in a televistion cabinet or even on top of the TV, def. not sitting on carpet), relatively cool, and you're still having problems, you might have a dust buildup inside your machine. Try blowing it out with some canned air if you can see it through the vent holes. Also, older versions of the 360 have a greater instance of overheating. So much that Microsoft extended the warranties on them past the initial period for any RROD occurance. If you have an older box, check the microsoft website for better tips on keeping it cool.

It's a toss-up between Oblivion and Mass Effect.

i have a old friend coming over that rarely plays xbox and was wondering what is a noob friendly game besides halo that we can co-op on.neutral101

Almost any racing game can be learned fairly quickly...if it's a FPS you're looking for, I'd try Brute Force (kind of crappy game, but can be fun with multiple players, extremely newb friendly).
