There's absolutely no benefit to consumers of an always online device. Even my cell phone can still do most things without service, I can still watch recorded shows on my cable box if there's no wire connected, the list goes on.

Hmm, I think I'll buy a new motor for one of my RC cars, and just keep playing games on my PC, using whatever connection happens to be available.

Seriously, everybody go buy RC stuff and get outside for a change, Microsoft won't enjoy dealing with that.

@n1rvana8706 Producers have the final say, since they're the ones handing out the money. It's a safe bet that it was EA who forced the always on DRM onto the game.

I'm glad to see this game getting the rating it deserves. Fixable or not, there's no excuse for selling a broken product.

@MovieBuff1980 I've been using the current Kinect for mocap and scanning and it works fairly well, but a better Kinect would be really awesome.

I've never played a game with it though, and I never plan to. I also wasn't enough of a sucker to buy the "Kinect for Windows" for $150 more.

Asus has a sensor now too, it would be neat to see if they can come up with something better before Kinect 2.0 comes along.

@Bl4KD37H Someone is never going to get another game industry job and probably face criminal charges, we'll just never hear about it.

It's interesting that people are saying things like "best GTA ever" based on "screenshots" and rendered cinematics. Hype is a hilarious thing.
