Hey.

I'm running Flight Simulator X with Flight Simulator X Acceleration installed on Windows 7 84 bit but after around 30 minutes of playing the game the game freezes and the busy pointer appears and after a minute or so flight simulator x shuts down and says 'A Fatal Error Occurred' then after a minute of that being on the screen it restarts fsx. How can I stop this?

I run FSX on high graphics and get a smooth frame rate (Average 30fps)

Specs:

AMD Phenom II Triple Core Mobile Processor P820 (1.8GHz, 1.5 MB L2 Cache)

4GB Memory

320GB Hard Drive

AMD M880G with ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4250 Graphics

I should also point out I don't know much about computers.

Hey i don't know if this is the best place to ask but I might aswell try here;

I have a PPL (Private Pilot's License) and I fly about twice every 2 weeks. I have over 40 hours of experience flying a Cessna 152 and if anyone is interested I'm willing to give them lessons on Flight Simulator X (over multiplayer) for free. If ypu're interested post back and tell me when is best for you.

I don't think there are many others than HAWX. I play flight sims on the pc. If you're just wanting arcade flying games I suggest Warhawk.

I just got a new laptop (HP G62) to play Flight Simulator X on, and before you think it won't run it, it does on high settings.

Anyway, the f1 - f12 keys are assigned to things so when they are pressed that thing happens. This even happens in game so if i press f4 for full throttle on fsx, it minimizes the game and comes up with another window. Can someone tell me how to change these key settings please.

Hope this is the right forum.

If you have a relatively good pc, Flight Simulator X all the way. But if you don't i recommend IL2 Sturmovik 1946.

PS. I would include Wings of Prey but it didn't really appeal to me as a sim.
